The Qumran set of dishes
This set is an authentic reproduction of dishes from the community of Qumran - circa BC 134 to AD 70
This set of dishes, cups and bowls are authentic replicas of those found at the caves of Qumran in 1948. They were used by the people of the Essenes sect, who lived in the caves and dedicated themselves to copying the Holy Scriptures and other writings known as the Dead Sea Scrolls. These artifacts were found in the ruins of Qumran.
